The Sunday after Thanksgiving is traditionally the busiest day of the year along Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor, which is located next to and clearly visible from Bowie Tower where our Library is located. Come on out this year November 28th and enjoy the parade of trains. The entire museum complex will be open 10:00 am – 4:00 pm that day. That include the our library, the visitor center, the yard control office, the railroad museum and tower, and the caboose. Best of all, it’s free! And make sure you stop in and check out all the great resources. When it comes to rail history, our library is “stacked” with it!
