On November 28 at least twenty folks showed up for the annual train spotting day at the library. Amtrak trains zoomed by every few minutes giving photographers and children of all ages a great show. The Sunday after Thanksgiving is traditionally the busiest day of the year along Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor, which is located next to and clearly visible from Bowie Tower where our Library is located. Library Reopens with Limited Hours

After a year long shutdown due to COVID-19, our Library has reopened in accordance with City of Bowie policy.  Museum hours are 12 to 1:30 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
