Train Spotting Day Highlights the Uniqueness of the Library

On November 28 at least twenty folks showed up for the annual train spotting day at the library. Amtrak trains zoomed by every few minutes giving photographers and children of all ages a great show. Library Reopens with Limited Hours

After a year long shutdown due to COVID-19, our Library has reopened in accordance with City of Bowie policy.  Museum hours are 12 to 1:30 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We are currently seeking an individual to help manage our collection on a volunteer basis. You do not have to be a professional librarian just a lover of books, and perhaps railroads.
