July 20, 2026: The Washington, D.C. Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society, Inc. is pleased to advise you that DCNRHS’ Railroad Library will be coming to a New Location in August at the Kensington Row Bookstore – 3786 Howard Road Kensington, MD. We will announce our opening dates soon with a Grand Opening Celebration in October! Our library will be located in old town, in historic Kensington, 2 blocks from Kensington MARC railroad station and directly across from the former B&O RR DC/Chicago mainline. Stay tuned!
We are looking for volunteers to help with the move, set-up, and providing regular staffing of the library.
Once open our hours will be Open 11 AM – 5 PM Tues. – Sun. Closed Mondays.
